False Prophets
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I [Jesus] have told you before.
Matthew 24:24-25
There's many Preachers on TV that claim they are anointed.
The titles that they give themselves are mostly self appointed.
Why claim to be a prophet without GOD'S own approval?
Those who falsely make this claim are destined for removal.

Perhaps it's for the praise of men that many of them err.
Maybe it's the money gained just because they're there.
Whatever reason they may have they hasten their destruction.
GOD calls those he wants to preach by HIS clear instruction.

Why not preach the word of GOD as simply as it's stated?
To build a sermon on "their" take is highly overrated.
Preach the word, as it is written... there's so much unlearned.
Warn unruly people GOD'S WORD should not be spurned.

Why chance the disapproval of our GOD or risk his ire?
Those who twist the word of GOD are playing with the fire.
One day we'll give a full accounting standing at HIS Throne.
Those who blaspheme GOD'S PURE WORD are strictly on their own.

I completely am amazed at their seeming lack of fear.
They seem to have no worry of they're ever leaving here.
It can't go on forever... one day our lives will end.
GOD won't hold them guiltless. On "that" you can depend.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:15-23
