In A Better Place

When you lose someone you love...
your heart just fairly breaks.
Little can be said and done
to comfort all your aches.

Even though we're all assured
that we are heaven bound...
We will feel a sense of loss...
because they're not around.

There will be many times recalled
that we will "see" their face.
Just remember; They're with GOD...
and in a better place.

JESUS said "Come unto ME"
a phrase that we all know.
HE welcomes us in Heaven
when it's our time to "go".

So even though your life has changed
and you're filled with pain...
Just remember what GOD said,
"WE" will meet again.

A great "reunion" has been planned
for family and friend.
Take heart and be encouraged
for "you" also will attend.

We'll all meet in heaven...
in GOD'S Kingdom we'll all share.
If we just abide in HIM
we'll see our loved ones there.

Take heart and don't be burdened.
Don't contemplate your fates.
One Day "YOU" will follow them...
and walk through Heavens gates.

That's when you'll see JESUS.
HE'LL appoint you your own share.
Then you'll see all those you've missed...
smiling at you there.

The joy you'll feel will know no bounds;
all burdens HE'LL erase.
There's sure to be some people there,
glad to see "your" face.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
