It's About Time
Our lives revolve around the time we're given on this earth.
No one knows how long it is till death from time of birth.
Every day that passes by... each day forthcoming too.
We should live it to the fullest... that means both me, and you.
We can't save up... "any" time... and use it later on.
Time goes on when doing "nothing"... and when it's gone ... it's gone.
We've all heard of "saving" time, on some specific chore.
You may perform a task much "quicker" than you did before.
Doing something quicker, doesn't save you time at all.
The rate of time is "constant"... it doesn't speed ... or crawl.
Inventions made... reduce the "use" of time much more efficient.
The time expended doesn't make... the time you've used deficient.
As we live our daily lives, spending "our" time on HIS earth...
We should all endeavor... to make our life have "worth".
We should consider that our time here on earth is fleeting.
We should spend more time in helping... other than competing.
The Bible says there's a time to laugh... also a time to weep.
Then there is a time to lose, and a time to keep.
A time to laugh, and a time you should mourn.
A Time we will Die, and a time to be born.
These words from our Bible... their meanings... profound...
Illustrate GOD'S love, and how HIS blessings do abound.
The earth is the LORDS, and the fullness thereof.
We can partake of HIS blessings that HE sends from above.
In my own time I've had some sorrows, but also joy and mirth.
I don't look forward to departing and leaving GOD's green earth.
"There is a time to every purpose" King Solomon did write.
He speaks of time for "many things" and lists them in plain sight.
Whatever time you spend on earth is a "gift" from GOD above.
We should be grateful for "our" time, HE'S given us in Love.
Time is a commodity... it's end... sometimes... abrupt.
We can't know how much we have, until we've used ours up.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].
Ephesians 5:14-17
