Time Will Tell
Will "we" escape the coming storm? How long will it continue?
Will we be here... when hope is gone?
Is rescue on the venue?
Questions perhaps pondered but maybe never spoke...
Will we be forced to feel the evil and to bear its yoke?
Freedoms that we once enjoyed
are threatened more each day.
Evil powers trying hard...
to strip them all away.
Turmoil like we've never known;
political upheaval.
Those whom we thought "friendly"
now... are viewed as evil.
Seemingly, the hour's late...
there's reason for concern.
Some warn that our country
will surely crash and burn.
Opponents now, are choosing sides
preparing for the clash.
Some are optimistic...
some preparing for the crash.
This country is in trouble...
we are staggering with debt.
Out of control spending...
and it's not over yet.
Is there hope for any of us?
How will we all survive?
If we can't feed our families
who'll be left alive?
Questions we've been asking
yet unanswered from the source.
Our leaders fail to give just reason
for this present course.
This I know for certain,
the evil workers will see Hell.
One day our GOD will make an end...
and only time will tell.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:6-8
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:12-13
The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum 1:7
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. Psalm 138:7
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
[It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
[They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness.
The LORD [is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
The LORD [is] good unto them that wait for him, to the soul [that] seeketh him.
[It is] good that [a man] should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3:21-26
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13:5-6
... lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20
