Choices

CHOICES

When we’re born we’ve little choice,
our parents do choose for us.
We may be born into great wealth
or of the family’s poorest.

There came a time in our young life
when choosing was “our” own.
We made our small decisions
and continued on when grown.

These choices although small in stature
establish our lifes trend.
We’ll choose how we will live our lives…
on that you can depend.

There’s choices that we make in life
that determine what we’ll do.
Our preferences help make us choose
things right for me and you.

The choices that decide direction
help put us where we are.
We could choose life’s greatest goals…
or choose not to go far.

Will we select a mate for life,
or choose to live alone?
Will we step out and risk it all?
Or find our comfort zone?

Ultimately all the choices
we have made will last or perish.
They’ll illustrate things in life
we have chose to cherish.

By default a choice is made
choosing “not” to choose at all.
A choice results in how you choose…
yea, or nay… it’s still your call.

Whatever choices made in life
will show the path you taken.
One final choice you must make…
to be saved or else forsaken.

Of all the choices you could make,
One is most profound…
Accepting our LORD JESUS
to insure you’re Heaven bound.
