Kenzy

Kenzy

We’re not together like we were…
but you’re still in my heart.
You’ll never know the pain I’ve felt…
since we’ve had to part.

I’ve tried to think of pleasant things
about the time we had.
To dwell upon the happy days…
and not to be so sad.

I’ll always have fond memories
of happy times we spent.
I can’t believe it’s eighteen years…
where have the years went?
I still can see you as a pup…
ears bouncing as you trotted.
You seemed to have a course in mind…
one already plotted.

The memories I’ve stored of you
are far too great to list.
It is for certain my dear friend…
you surely will be missed.

Someday when life for me is done,
and I leave this earth too…
I hope when GOD assembles us…
that I’ll be seeing you.

Kenzy (full name Kensington) was born eighteen years ago and was my constant beloved companion. Kenzington departed this earth on May 7th, 2008 at 11:20 am. I can honestly say that KENZY was my dearest friend and I truly feel the loss profoundly. -CC

Hi CC , this poem about Kenzy brought tears to my eyes. . I lost my Izzygirl May10th, of this year. She was my companion and faithful friend for sixteen years . She was two pounds when I got her and grew to be six pounds . She was the most beautiful chihuahua ever. . My husband and I miss her so much. We are in our eighties and will certainly miss her everyday, she brought much joy to us. I pray that it will be in Gods plan to unite us with our fur babies.
    God bless you
