On The Brink

If you listen you can almost hear
the turning of a page.
The turmoil in this world we know
an ending to an age.

Disasters all around the globe
occur most every day.
GOD’S Prophets long ago have said
it would be this way.

Earthquakes, famines, war and bloodshed
now a daily faire.
If you look into the Bible
you’ll find it’s written there.

If you are a believer…
then you know what to expect.
The TV news that’s so confused…
you know you should reject.

The world don’t have a clue it seems
to what is taking place.
The meaning of these final days
or what they soon will face.

Unless you know the Word of GOD,
most are quite unwise.
The “rapture” of the church from earth
will come as a surprise.

Upcoming plights will test resolves…
heart’s will fill with fear.
Disasters that are long predicted
will certainly appear.

The dire predictions for this world
now are taking place.
There’s catastrophic days forthcoming
to the human race.

When these events are taking place
most won’t understand.
Few of them will realize…
It’s happening by GOD’S hand.

The global situations threaten;
nuclear war could soon erupt.
Conditions steadily worsen…
Our personal world could end abrupt.

All these things must happen;
GOD has told us centuries past.
The time we’re living on this earth
will someday be our last.

It’s sad to see that most don’t notice
that we are on the brink.
JESUS CHRIST is coming back…
much sooner than we think.
