ASK

ASK

No doubt you’ve heard the tired old phrase;
let nature take it’s course.
I say to you with all respect
it’s GOD that is “your” source.

Don’t settle for defeat in life,
that’s not GOD’S plan for you.
Get on your knees and talk to GOD,
HE will see you through.

Are you facing problems in your life
where you can’t see a way?
If by now you’ve not petitioned,
you should kneel and pray.

You have not, cause you’ve asked not,
is another phrase you’ve heard.
These wise words are in the Bible,
proclaimed often in HIS WORD.

Don’t put off talking to our GOD
just hoping for the best.
It’s time you asked HIM for HIS help
whatever be your quest.

Ask your GOD to speak to you…
HE won’t stand off aloof.
HE will demonstrate HIS love;
HE will give you living proof.

GOD alone… can help you
overcome trials you’re enduring.
HE alone can guide events
and stop them from occurring.

HE himself knows what is best
and brings forth a solution.
Even though you’ve tried so hard
to bring forth resolution.

HE can see what lies ahead
and knows what you’ll soon face.
HE will sometimes motivate us,
increasing our slow pace.

HE also will retard our moves…
avoiding great disaster.
If we learn to heed HIS urgings
we’ll see results much faster.

Learn to “ASK” … don’t wait too long…
HE waits to hear from “you”.
You must realize this fact;
There’s NOTHING he can’t do!!

GOD knows all there is to know;
the beginning, to the ending.
If you pray and “ASK” HIS help
HIS aid HE will be sending.

Consider when you’re asking
no matter what you’re prone to say.
GOD loves all his children,
especially those who do obey.

GOD is far from the wicked,
but to the righteous… hears their prayer.
You must repent, and then obey,
if you expect your share.

Matthew 7:7-11
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give * him a stone?

Or if he ask a fish, will he give * him a serpent?

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

1John 5:14-15
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

James 5:16
Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

1Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.

Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
