Thanksgiving
THANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving is a “holiday” that our Nation has observed..
A tradition known by many which we try to keep preserved..
The third Thursday in the month is the long established date..
A time we set aside for family .. and for filling up our plate..
I myself am thankful .. that this my country ..still is free ..
I’m thankful for our Military ..that has fought for you and me ..
I’m thankful for the home I have .. whether owned or rented..
I’m thankful I can pay the mortgage .. when it is presented..
Thanksgiving Day before you dine .. bow your head and pray this prayer..
Dear LORD , I sure am thankful .. you’ve allowed this meal .. to share..
There are folks out there in need.. that would appreciate this feast ..
To say they would be grateful .. is to say the very least..
